Temporary.Videos should be optional & what about PTZ camera

by al2suarez » Sat Oct 17, 2015 1:34 am

Hi, I am using Sighthound Video as a free trial and I am loving it and considering getting the Pro version, however, I have a couple suggestions:

0) Temporary.Video's should be optional. Triggered Event Clips should be saved by two categories...(1) By Rule and (2) By No Rule... everything else should have the option to save or not to save.

*** There should be a option that when the amount of storage I specify fills up, old recordings are discarded to make room for new recordings. And if the feature is turned off, to warn the user via email/app.notication that space is running out and to make room. Maybe some type of HDD Remaining Space Indicator based on HDD space (storage location) times each camera's bitrate/resolution ***

1) How about being able to access storage from camera's internal storage (microSD)

2) How about being able during live video to listen to the audio (if available)

3) I am currently using Sighthound.Video with 2 logitech security cameras, 1 webCam and 1 PTZ camera. Would be really nice to be able to use the PTZ function. I suggest an event should be added where one can have the camera follow the object/people.

4) How about starting Sighthound Video app at Windows Startup

5) How about an option to duplicate an existing rule.

6) Would be nice to store exported clips (event triggered) by folder by date.folder.name

Thank you very much,

Alvaro Suarez
