Headless server

I've downloaded the free demo version of the software and it has some nice features.

My application is home surveillance. I have a data closet in my home where I'd like to put a dedicated, headless, video 'server' which would contain the Sighthound installation, handle the video streams and contain drive storage.

I believe the only option available then for managing this is to Remote Desktop into that system.
Alternately if I wanted to see the video there is a Web interface. It seems sluggish.

Ideally I was looking for a 'client' application for direct access.

Am I missing any other options?

At this time the only methods to remotely view your clips and live video with Sighthound Video is the web interface and our free mobile apps.
