Hey guys,
Just bought a Tenvis JPT3815W-HD and am able to view great in the browser, however, no luck on sighthound. Just says "can not connect". I've tried the Tenvis JPT3815W as the camera type, as well as a generic IP using http or rtsp or Tenvis (other) with 11 or videostream.cgi as the stream path. Unsure of what else to do...would appreciate any help...thanks!

The SH team sent me a developer build, which has now been released so the camera should "work" (caveats below). The camera has now worked fine - daytime colors are true HD and nightime colors are monochrome with so-so IR lighting coverage. Things I don't like...there is NO setting to keep the camera in IR mode like others I have, so if it catches headlights at night, it will switch badly between daytime and IR - not good if you're trying to catch a face or license plate.
The password setup for the camera is also crazy. I found if you don't sign in to the camera using the New Tenvis (junk) app with the admin/admin login and THEN change your password, it won't work correctly. I was first changing the password on my PC and then everytime I logged into the app, it would say "wrong password" no matter what I tried, and then hang. If you're willing to put up with this nonsense, or not use the app to login on your phone or tablet, the camera is really a good bargain for the price.
