URL Credential Format?

I am trying to get SightHound to work with the SmartThings SmartTile lab. My remote access works great via the IOS app or by going to the remote access URL http://50.XXX.XXX.XXX:8849/ or via http://50.XXX.XXX.XXX:8849/mobile on my phone. What I need to know is if there is a way to embed my credentials into the url like http://50.XXX.XXX.XXX:8849/mobile?login ... mypassword.

I have tried ever standard convention that I know of to add credentials with no luck. Thank you!

Hello nomad33fw,

Using your example, you should be able to use http://admin:[email protected]:8849. This should work with most browsers, though I am unsure of SmartThings SmartTile and what it is you are trying to do with it.

Thank you. That works in my browser but no luck with SmartTiles, I'll get with that developer and see if he can help. SmartTiles is pretty awesome, gives you a dashboard of all the SmartThings in your home. Kind of like a control panel.
