Has anybody been able to connect the XC720V to SightHound Video. I have used an XC100 for some time but cannot configure the XC720V. My license is a basic one and not for HD cameras , is this the reason ? if i select a QVGA resolution i can not preview the camera in camera setup , i just get -can not connect. I can see the camera in a browser from my PC and i can use another application to see my camera from the mac . I am using stream path tsp:///192.168.1.188/ch01.264

Hello Gary,
Just to clarify - The Basic Edition license does allow any resolution. Only the free Starter Edition limits camera resolution.
From what I could find out online it looks like you should be able to connect using either rtsp://camera.ip.address/ch01.264 or rtsp://camera.ip.address/
If that does not work I'd be happy to take a look at your logs for anything unusual if you could submit a bug report by going to Help > Report a Problem.

Hi Devin,
Thanks for the info about the license. That was the stream path that I tried , I did not try using the second one though.however The camera had to be returned because it had other more serious issues , I will now try and select another dome camera that is supported
