Hello shadowbit1234,

This article shows where Sighthound Video stores its data directory on each platform: https://www.sighthound.com/support/wher ... store-data

That being said, editing rules outside of Sighthound Video is not officially supported and errors may cause data loss that we cannot assist in recovering, so please back up any critical data first.

Are you experiencing issues with editing rules in Sighthound Video that we can help you with?

Regards,

-Devin

Well, I did not seen any time schedule option. for example during the day time I do not want to get any alerts but during the night time I want to get alerts.

So I plan to make my own software to set rules base on time, days etc...

I have seen the rules its not a standard XML or any other format I know.

What format is it?
any instructions on how to modify it?

Hi shadowbit1234,

It is possible to set a schedule for your rules so that they only run at certain days of the week and at specific times of the day. For details please see this article: https://www.sighthound.com/support/moni ... w#schedule

The rule files are not meant to be altered outside of Sighthound Video so we do not have any instructions on how to do so.

Regards,

-Devin
