Does a faster graphics card help?

[mafu]

Does a faster graphics card help take some of the pressure off the cpu, does sighthound utilise the gpu? i am ordering a pc specifically for sighthound and need to know if to specify a better gpu to speed up the operation.....

Hi mafu,

At this time Sighthound Video does not use the GPU for analysis so getting a better card will not improve performance. If you haven't already, I recommend taking a look at this article for a description of the different factors that will impact performance: https://www.sighthound.com/support/system-requirements
