IFTTT not triggering

IFTTT has not been working 100%, it will work for an hour then stop, not sure if its the sighthound application not recognizing an event or what, but the only solution is to restart the computer, after restarting computer I receive IFTTT notifications...that is until it stops working again (i've not made it a full day). This is important feature for me, I wouldn't even know about this software if it wasn't for IFTTT!

I'm also not receiving emails that should trigger when a "person crosses boundary" (test email worked!) which makes me believe there is a bug in the software preventing it from sending the triggers. I can see the videos when i search "person crossing boundary", so why isn't it triggering emails and IFTTT notifications?
