The rule setting is called "inside my region" in the "That are:" box. This will ignore everything outside of your region for the selected rule.

As I said before, this is only nested within the rule, it has absolutely no effect on the full time capture of video to disk. Sighthound should record on motion, then apply the rule as opposed to just recording all streams, all the time.

+1 for HTML5 UI. The SecOps people where I work won't even let us run Flash on our work machines, so this is pretty inconvenient.

The remote access web player does first try to use html5. If unsupported by the browser it will use flash as a fallback.
