Android app login

I have got remote access working (can login via an external laptop through chome) but can't login via the android app. Just get username password incorrect error (but it's correct). I tried usernames of my email when setting up remote access and just my name and set different password formats to no avail.

The URL I'm using is my external address as it shows in sighthound (with the port and without the port).

Any ideas on how to get it going?

I am on Lg g3 (4.4.2)

Hi joelegg,

You will want to use the address exactly as it's displayed in the remote access tab (with the port) and the username and password that you have set for the remote server. As a test I'd recommend temporarily using a simple username and password (admin:admin for example) to see if maybe the phone is autocorrecting the credentials you are entering. Also be sure that you are using the External Address when not connected to the same network as the computer running Sighthound. If your phone is connected to the same network via WiFi then you will need to use the Internal Address that is listed.

Hi Devin,

Having the shorter username and password worked.
user name 5 letters and password is between 9-12 characters
