FTP 550 error msg

I connected an external drive connected to my router and set it up as an ftp. I can see it if I map to it, but unable to setup ftp on Sighthound. I receive a 550 failed to change directory error msg.

My host is setup correctly (router name), user credentials are valid, but directory name does not seem to work for either Sighthound or Archive (folder exists for Archive on external drive).

I would greatly appreciate any help.
