remote storage
can I save recorded data to a storage device connected to a router? if so can I access this from another location? Thanks

Hi gdg569,
Depending on your router you may be able to set up an FTP server with which Sighthound can upload clips to. See this article for directions on uploading clips to FTP: https://www.sighthound.com/support/rule-editor#ftp
There is also the option to export clips to a local folder which may be useful if there are folder sharing or syncing options with your router. Details on exporting to a local folder can be found here: https://www.sighthound.com/support/export-local-folder
