iphone 6 - google drive - Sighthound

I'm using google drive to store Sighthound clips off site. I'm also using the Sighthound alerts to send an SMS to my iphone 6. I want to be able to view the clips on google drive from my iphone 6, when I receive an SMS alert.
I can open the folder on google drive, but when I click on an mp4 clip, I get a black screen overlaying the file list. The video won't play.

Help please? What is the easiest way to play Sighthound videos on an iphone 6?

Hi dradb,

The easiest way would be to use our mobile app which is available for free in the Apple store. Our mobile app can send alerts when a rule is triggered which you can tap to play the video clip without using SMS or Google Drive.

Thanks Devin. I just discovered it and was about to post.
It's a pity it doesn't allow entry of both the local IP for testing and the remote IP. The local IP works great. Mine won't allow the remote IP to be entered at all, I assume until I'm away from my local network?

Hi dradb,

Some routers will not allow you to connect to an externally facing address from within the same network. One way to test the external address would be to turn off WiFi and use the cellular network.
