Hi kaisersousa,

We have not yet received any other reports of this issue. Have you verified that the IP address is still correct? When you updated the firmware it's possible the camera received a new IP address. Some cameras reset to factory settings when updated so if you are using a custom username and password you may need to add them to your cameras configuration page again.

I Devin
all new firmware from ubiquity and all cam are not compatible with SH.
now the UBNT cam don't support the RTSP protocol and the HTTP protocol but only the HTTPS
inside at the SH the only option is for rtsp and http..
any idea?

Ciao
Cesare

Hi kaisersousa,

Sorry for the delay. Did the firmware release notes say that http and rtsp streams were removed? The only information I've been able to find is the manual which still shows the option for RTSP authentication http://dl.ubnt.com/guides/AirCam/airCam_Dome_UG.pdf

Have you checked the camera configuration page to see if the RTSP authentication is enabled and using the same username and password as the one set in Sighthound? Cameras sometimes return to factory settings when updating firmware.

I'd recommend contacting Uniquiti support to see if the stream url's have changed for 3rd party media viewers or if they are no longer supporting this.

Regards,

hi devin. you see the old doc for FW ver 1.1 (look the picture in page 6).
the new version of firmware (3.0.9, but from 3.0 and above) don't support rstp but only httpS

for use RTSP have a workaround, using the UNIFI NVR.. but this work only under windows (i'm a mac user) and if i use a NVR from unifi don't understand the utility of SH.

many people are not happy for the new release of the FW from unifi
http://community.ubnt.com/t5/UniFi-Vide ... sion_Ideas

Look at:

http://community.ubnt.com/t5/UniFi-Vide ... -p/1041469

the only supported port is:

Port Forwarding
Forward the following ports (of TCP type) if accessing over WAN:

7080 – HTTP communication with cameras
7443 – Controller web UI
6666 – Live FLV for incoming gen2 camera streams
1935 – RTMP streaming video to web UI & accepting gen1 camera video
7447 – RTSP re-streaming via controller

All the new ubiquity product have the new firmware, and i sell at my customer a SH licence and the UBNT product.

Hi kaisersousa,

Sorry for the delay. Unfortunately it appears Ubiquity want their customers to use their controllers and software rather than 3rd party software such as Sighthound Video. The notes do indicate that you may be able to re-stream using one of their controllers. I'd recommend contacting Ubiquity to see if you can receive an older firmware version or if they have any workarounds.

Regards,

-Devin
