Anyone have experience with both versions (Mac / Win)? I'd like to know where the future development attention will be focused. So if Windows is better I'll get a Win box or conversely Mac. I'm currently running SH Mac on airbook and clearly need more horsepower. Thanks.

We equally develop and support both mac and windows, so whichever system you choose to run the software on comes down to personal preference (assuming the given machine meets the hardware requirements to run your target number of cameras).
