SRICAM AP Series Camera Not Supported

SRICAM AP Series cameras are HD (720p) Outdoor PTZ cameras supporting H.264. Supporting this series would be the same as supporting the WANSCAM HW series cameras as well as the Ultra Smart Homes ULTRACAM365.

Thanks for writing in. We add cameras to our supported listed once we, or a user, confirm the correct stream settings for a camera.

If you need assistance setting up a specific model we'd be happy to help. If you have already successfully connected Sricam AP cameras we'd love to add them to our supported cameras list if you could provide the model numbers and stream settings used to connect.

I have indeed successfully connected both the Sricam AP005 and Ultra Smart Homes UltraCam365 cameras to SightHound using the generic "Other Network (IP) Camera option. The stream settings for both are as follows:

Protocol: HTTP
Stream Path: video stream.cgi

Takes in the standard details: Ip address, http port, username, password

Details for your pick list would be:

Camera Type: Network (IP) Camera
Manufacturer: Sricam
Camera Type: AP005, AP005e (AP005 Series all work the same way)
Resolution Options: 1280x720, 640x480, and 320x240

Camera Type: Network (IP) Camera
Manufacturer: Ultra Smart Homes
Camera Type: UltraCam365
Resolution Options: 1280x720, 640x480, and 320x240

I have confirmed the AP006 works using the following url: rtsp://IPADDRESS:554/onvif1 640x480 or onvif2 for 320x240

Protocol: RTSP
Stream Path: /onvif1 or /onvif2
