I am only using the trial version but compared to my cheap Logitech software, Logitech is better at pick up objects. I have my camera pointed to my car out in the street. Logitech never misses anything however if a person is walking down the street or across the street or messing with my car, Sighthound does not pick it up. I have all the defaults set to capture everything also. I have both programs running side by side. The Sighthound is much better software as far as what you can do with it but if it is not going to records everything like I have it set up to do, it would be a waste of money to purchase it.
I have even had people walk down my sidewalk and depending on which way they are coming from, Sighthound will not start recording until they are halfway past my house. That is not good.
