remote access

by wanab » Mon Oct 06, 2014 4:00 pm

I have the free trial version. I want to try remote access but it won't let me because I do not have the basic or pro version. Before I buy into this I want to make sure that remote access on the web from anywhere will work. I had a foscam 8910 w/bluiris that I could not get to work with my mediatek n300 router. Also had Polaroid cam and did not work either. Right now have, sorry to say,..2 Logitech 750n cameras with "only" view on web. No control like the commander on home network. Don't want to try Logitechs remote control for the web because no support then $79 down the drain... Logitech alert is done, finished. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks....hopefully "new" satisfied Sighthound doggie..

Hi wanab,

What version of Sighthound Video are you running? After installing you should have received a free 14 day Pro trial to let you try out all features, remote access included. If you did not, or your trial expired before you could test remote access we'd be happy to set up a new trial or extension. Please write to support @ sighthound.com and let us know the email address of your Sighthound account.

For more information on enabling and using remote access please see the following support articles: https://www.sighthound.com/support/topic/remote-access

Best,
