If I understand this correctly after reading the FAQ and some other comments:
- SH only analyzes 10 fps and stores 10 fps
- SH will ignore anything more than 10 fps
- But it really needs 10 fps
- So if you can guarantee 10 fps, then don’t bother setting your camera for more
- But you might set your camera to more, like 15 or 20 fps, so that SH will still get 10 fps if there are (brief!) network hiccups, CPU overload, etc.
- Set the i-frames to your fps-1 (or less) (e.g., 19 for 20 fps, 9 for 10 fps)
I set my camera to 10 fps, and reduced the compression down to like 10 percent, but then started getting frame rate warnings, so I put it back to 20 fps. (Axis 1011-W)
