Quick question: does Sighthound support multithreading if more than one camera is beeing monitored? Or is the software only singlethread? Further, is there a 64-bit version of the software available?

Sighthound is a multiprocess application and does take advantage of multiple cores. There isn't a 64 bit version at the moment, but this shouldn't make any difference for you as an end user.
