Usability Bug: Clips -> Labels

by 303 » Wed May 14, 2014 3:06 am

"Edit" should not be "edit." It should be one of the following
• Refine
• Filter
• Type

My vote is for "Refine"

"Edit" on its own implies an action that changes qualities of an object / artifact / record. If you wanted to be looser with the definition you could say "Edit filters" or "Edit objects" or "Edit cameras shown and objects" (and so on) but that's confusing and awkward.

Agreed. Sticking with terminology from the desktop app some other choices might include "(select|change) (rule|search)" or "look for".

yeah, "look for" is awesome, especially if you do it madlibs style, as in

look for [everything]
look for [only people]
