Start with windows problems

by Unlucky » Mon May 12, 2014 3:08 pm

It seems that the program does not support a native "start with windows" option which is a real shame.

To get around this I created a scheduled task to start the program when the main user logs in, however I am having some problems.

The program starts fine but none of the camera feeds show an output. If I edit a camera, the test connection shows the correct output of the camera. However after saving, the camera is still stuck on reconnecting.

To fix the problem I have to turn off all cameras, close the program, start the program and then turn all cameras back on.

Hi Unlucky,

Running as a service is a feature we plan to add in a future release. It sounds quite odd that you would need to reboot the application, simply disabling and enabling the camera itself should be equivalent to rebooting the application (and neither of those should be necessary). I think this is related to the connection issue you mentioned in your other post, so let's continue the troubleshooting there.

Best,
- ryan
