My timestamp is showing as 04/08/2014. We are not yet near August! My PC is set to dd/mm/yyyy. It would be great if the format could use the same as the PC or be customised or compromised to 08/APR/2014.
US date format confuses most the world.

Thanks for the feature request. We've had several requests for this, and general date format specification is something we would like to add in a future version. We are attempting to request the local format from the OS, but the current approach seems to be rather stubborn about returning the correct value on many systems. We'll look into either better automatic retrieval or allowing a manual override.
