SWNHD-825CAM aka DS-2CD2032 mjpeg path?

by mike_va » Sat Mar 15, 2014 1:49 pm

I can get this to work on vitaminD, but it artifacts. I think this is because I am using mpeg4 with a 264 stream.

Cannot figure out the mjpeg stream path. Anyone had any luck?

Thanks, Mike

Hi Mike,

What stream path are you using? If you are experiencing glitches due to lost or dropped packets over UDP (a transport that doesn't guarantee delivery), you can try appending ?svforcetcp to the streampath to force a TCP connection (a reliable transport)

example:

/streams/h264

would become

/streams/h264?svforcetcp

Note that you mention using Vitamin D Video, the above flag will only work in Sighthound Video.
