I assume it is not against the rules to do this since some recommended fixes are using external programs to do functions.

Well I'm new to programming (C#), but I thought it would be cool to have a program that runs on a set timer to remind you that vitamin D is not running. For example you have one main computer that you use vitamin D on, but if you want to fire up a graphics intensive videogame, you'll need to close VDV down to free up all your resources, and then you may not remember to open it again. This will remind you to open VDV depending how long you set the timer duration for.

You are free to view/modify the code, or check to see that it doesn't have any viruses (it doesn't).

Looks pretty neat for a a first project! Thanks for sharing. If you'd like to try interacting with some of VDV's functionality just drop me a private message or email ryan@ and I'm happy to point you to some API functionality to play around with.

Thanks, yeah I'd be very interested! Also i'm not sure if my post was obvious, but it's not just a timer, it actually checks processes running for "Vitamin D Agent.exe" and won't warn unless it does not see any vitamin D processes.
