vitamin d will not work without a password

i have been hrs and hrs trying to get my cameras to show up in vitamin d, all i get is cannot connect. Well when visiting this forum, one guy said he has been trying for about 12 hrs to get them working, and he heard that you must have a password for the program to work, so i thought it cannot be so simple,and i tried it, and yes it worked. hrs and hrs wasted like the other guy, who by the way i thank him for solving it for me, SURELY THIS SHOULD BE MADE CLEAR IN THE SET UP INSTRUCTIONS FOR VITAMIN D. hope this helps someone

Hi David,

I am only aware of this occurring with some foscam and forenix models and firmware versions, and for some not only must a username and password be set, but the username must be 'admin'. This is noted in the setup wizard for the few camera models that I am aware of it being an issue with. If you had this issue with a camera in the app that doesn't mention this I'm happy to add that note for future versions. If you had this issue with a camera that is not preconfigured in VDV, I'm happy to add both the camera and the note.
