VDV to switch replays

hey,

is anyone familiar with the script launching of the basic version?

I'm an engineer and I recently bought a Arduino microcontroller board, and I was thinking of making a little device than would switch lights and such on an event. is it possible to use scripts without using the basic addition? or, are there any sales on the basic addition happening soon? I really only use one camera so I don't want to shell out $50 for features I wont really use.

also, is there any way for VDV to output the X-Y coordinates of the object it is tracking? it would be really cool to make a light track people as the walk through my back alley

Hiya,

Triggering scripts/external apps is limited to the paid versions.

There is no official way to retrieve X-Y coordinates of objects at this time, and certainly no constant notification method, but if you'd like to play around with this in a completely "at your own risk" sort of way you can check out the object database file.
