FTP to DriveHQ, 5000 logons?????

Hello,

I have set up rules to put clips onto DriveHQ via FTP (free account). When I initially set this up it was working. Now it doesn't. Doing a test in VDV I get the message:

530 Not logged on, free service users can logon 100 times, plus 25 times/day, please upgrade on http://www.drivehq.com/!

When I asked a question about that on the DriveHQ, support replied:
I checked your account and noticed that you have indeed used over 100 FTP logons for your account (our database shows over 5000).
Unqote.

I have had VDV for a short time and a maximum roughly 10 clips would have been sent per day. That doesn''t add up to 5000. There defninitely aren't 5000 clips where I told it to put them.

Any help appreciated.

Hi,

I think it's because I exceeded the 100 FTP uploads and the 5000 must have been login attempts. I'll have to get a pay subscription which will remove the limit.

Hi Paul,

That is definitely a likely explanation as VDV would continue trying to connect to upload clips as they occurred, and periodically retrying to upload existing clips that couldn't be sent when they were originally triggered.
