Anyone using Blue Iris?

As the future of Sighthound is unclear (I understand an update is one the way, but no idea when), I'm curious if anyone has tried using Blue Iris, and what are your experiences? I'm running SH on a Mac, but it would be no problem getting a cheap Windows box to run Blue Iris, if that's the best way f...

Re: No updates, no support

I'd just like to offer my difference of opinion... Not sure whose opinion you're differing with, but I agree 100% with every bit of what you said. I think that's why I'm so antsy about knowing what's in store, because I'm afraid we're going to get a very dumbed down version of Sighthound. My search...

Re: No updates, no support

Hello tallrob, I completely understand your frustration. I've illustrated my frustrations to engineering since I get so much feedback from our customers. Engineering is working tirelessly on creating the best version of Sighthound Video to date and since the backend is completely different, they ha...

Re: No updates, no support

"Unfortunately, they do not have an estimated time on when they will be finished." That's the problem. You've been saying this for almost a year. What kind of engineering team has no idea when they'll be finished, while the customer base gets scared off? You should tell someone to light a...

Re: No updates, no support

I've heard this kind of string along before. Sighthound is essentially dead. If you can't keep a decent timeline or let your customer's know what to expect for the future, you're gone. Too bad. Looks like it's mediocre cloud service cameras from now on.

High Sierra 10.13 OK to update?

Any known issues with Sighthound Video on macOS 10.13 High Sierra? I checked the release notes and I don't see a recent update that mentions High Sierra compatibility. Wondering if it's ok to update or if I should hold off.

Thanks
Rob

Re: Schedule to Arm Cameras

Bump...

I'm trying to be patient. But I guess It's my duty to point out that despite the promise of quick replies to tech support questions, the last two questions I posted haven't received a response in two weeks' time. FYI.
