The default rtsp port is 554 while it appears you are trying to use 3000 from outside access. I assume when quitting the VitD application it still runs in the background and warns you (if properly configured) while working on the PC. If you shutdown the PC or Mac, does VitD still send the e-mail notifications ? In other words, do you need a powered-on PC or Mac for being informed thru e-mail ?

Good news ...Foscam FI9820 works with vitD using the IP address of the cam within my LAN. Protocol : rtsp and videostream : 11 What still does not work ...

Besides http and rtps, I wonder if QuickTime (mac version) protocol is supported by vitD ? Seems that Foscam SW launch QT for mac users to stream the video. Within my browser with the right plug-ins the foascam sw is behaving O.K. using QT, but with vitD my .asf file RTSP does not launch the video. ...

Note that with 'view your camera from your browser' works ...
