Re: ignore rule

CV You seem very excited about SV. That's great but your spamming the shit out of this feature request forum. They only have a limited staff and time to add features so it probably best to focus on the most important and achievable ones. "LIP READING"?! And There is an ignore button. It's ...

Re: Rubbish

That's weird. My support package expired years ago and kbond still replies to my questions. What EXACTLY are you having trouble with. The fact that your not posting your problem may indicate part of the problem.

Opinions on PC's for use with Sighthound

I'm wondering what PC's everyone is using with SV. I use Lenovo M93P's https://i.imgur.com/qQAeMMM.jpg from a couple of generations back. They have an Intel i5 4670 CPU and run Sighthound with (4x) 3MP cameras at less than 23% CPU usage. they are perfect for SV. They have high end networking, run wi...

Re: 99% CPU usage

Steve unless they gave you the Pro version testing with the trial version will not be accurate at all. The resolution in the trial version is limited. So your bandwith utilization will not be representative of real world performance.

Re: User favorites for cameras?

Axis is way overpriced
Hikvision cameras are great for the price (Only buy from a licensed reseller or you get no bios updates) and change the password as soon as you install them.

This includes some analytical duties. Many Video Security programs now take advantage of this new feature. I'm ha...

Re: 99% CPU usage

switz, as SV_Alex stated If you have a drive for each of 4 cameras you can do what your attempting to do using a RAID setup and you will reap many other benefits also. RAID 5 and 6 will both increase data write and access speed along with providing redundancy for data security. You do pay a small pr...
