Re: Stream to MP4

After a broken PC, I finally have another PC for NVR.
typing localhost:8848/live/filename.m3u8local
result in 404 not found

I believe the file is generated in C:/Users/username/AppData/Local/Sighthound Video/remote/filename.m3u8local

Is there something I did wrong?

Re: URL calling to local Android server

you can run a script that execute curl command to your home automation server. But I'd like for SV to be able to send videos with other method, such as instant messenger, because we have limited email storage, and video received most likely have to be deleted manually to free up space.

running on single board computer

Hello, my old PC is broken on motherboard and it means I have to upgrade my system. However, I'm tight on budget and prefer low power computing. It was an intel atom, 2gb RAM with windows 7 64bit, and SV 4 run without problems at all. But I used to run openHAB on that PC and it became very slow beca...

Re: Stream to MP4

I tried to move lisence to 64bit OS, and use SH5. Enable stream fast start is ticked, and no m3u8local file. Only found some jpg files after I open via web browser for a while.

Is there something wrong or I have looked to the wrong place?

Re: execute curl command sighthound windows

What curl are you using? Happy to take a look but as curl isn't included with windows I'm not sure what binaries you're running. Under macOS the following works for me in the rule config: curl http://example.com -o /Users/ryan/examplesource Does that work correctly for you with your curl under wind...

Re: execute curl command sighthound windows

Code: Select all
curl --header "Content-Type: text/plain" --request PUT --data "OFF" http://192.168.1.79:8880/rest/items/MyLight/state

This curl for openHAB is working with command prompt, but not in sighthound.

seeing car as a person

I always get false alarm when a car get into a specified region. Is there any way to prevent that?

It is very clear that the car may take 30% of camera space on camera 1, and up to 50% on camera 2, with no human visible inside the car.
