Re: Camera picture Glitches

Alright, since these issues has not been resolved for over a year now and my license is due for renewal I have to say that I will not renew my license this time. I have decided to switch over to another surveilance software which is a little bit of shame since I have liked Sighthound quite much. I h...

Re: More threads/cores for more cameras?

Hi "beeftube" Thanks for sharing your setup. I am also in the process of changing my setup and to use a dedicated video surveillance server. Are you running your cameras in UDP or forced TCP mode? If in UDP mode, have you experienced video tearing with your new setup as described in the th...

Re: Camera picture Glitches

Hi Devin Ok I have been able to get rid of the camera disconnects when using forced TCP instead of UDP. However, the video motion using TCP is not smooth at all and it is quite jumpy. Using UDP is much more smoother but then I get the video tearing every minute or so. Example of stream settings (I h...

Re: Camera picture Glitches

I am too experiencing the same issue with video glitches / video tearing in exactly the same way as everyone else has described in this thread (which now is over a year old but still no fix?). I have tried with forcing TCP sessions (I am using 5 cameras of AXIS P3346-VE model) but what then only hap...

Re: BSOD (Blue Screen of Death) crash using Sighthound

I have not been able to do full Memtest86+ yet (I am using the latest version from http://www.memtest.org/). However, I did replace all memory sticks (4x8GB for a total of 32GB) with 2x8GB (total 16GB) with a totally different brand (HyperX HX316C10FWK2/16) and I haven´t had a BSOD (yet!) for...

Re: BSOD (Blue Screen of Death) crash using Sighthound

The video card is Nvidia GeForce 9600 GT and driver version now is 337.88 I have had problems that no minidump file has been generated when I have gotte...

BSOD (Blue Screen of Death) crash using Sighthound

Hi, After I purchased the Pro license of Sighthound and started to use it more heavily I have started to see occasional reboots of my computer. I am currently using 3 of the AXIS P3346-VE 3MP IP cameras on a quite good computer with: Windows 7 Ultimate Pro 64 bit Intel Core i5 3570K 32 GB RAM (Corsa...
